so my journey started with an 8hour flight from dublin to chicago. it was pretty painless so thats a good start!
then i had to figure out how to get from the airport into chicago.... no as easy as i thought and people were not particularly helpful on pointing me the direction of the train so after half and hour i gave up and got a shuttle taxi which took FOREVER!!
thankfully jane was there to meet me and we got some dinner, then i had the long wait until my bus at midnight (6am uk time!)
then a 10hour coach to kansas city where i arrived at 10am this morning with very little sleep! it was a long journey but i made it!
now i have 2 weeks of rehersals. we leave at 730 every morning (i thought those days were behind me for a while after no more nero!) i think its going to be a pretty intense time but im just really hoping that i make friends quickly and keep up with the dancing!
i miss home a little already but i think its the shock of everything combined with being so tired and it will pass once i get going!!!
im certainly glad i don't have to do more travelling for a couple weeks anyway!

YAY ceri! so glad you are there safe and sound. I'll be praying for you and all your rehearsing, bet its intense! just got back from mission in devon and am shattered, but i can imagine its only half as tired as you must be!!

ceri...is this like gx international that came out of YWAM and is Bill Lanterman in charge by any chance? if so, there was something called GX JAM that sorta started out of the YWAM base in Montana and then it became (oh shoot, i can't remember the name) but anyways, bands tour with it, etc and they're out of Kansas City....?
Is this the same thing?
anyways, looks like fun.....let me know when you plan on being in the Manitoba area. I'll be gone the week of April 23-May 1st ish....
